PUREVEIL uses Etak®, a fixed antimicrobial agent developed from an ingredient used in oral cleansing and disinfection.

The treatment is bonded to the fabric to help inhibit the growth of certain bacteria and reduce the number of certain viruses on the textile surface, while retaining the natural comfort of cotton.

- The antiviral treatment does not suppress the activity of viruses.
- Antiviral testing was conducted using ATCC VR-1679, an enveloped virus, and ATCC VR-782, a non-enveloped virus, after two hours at 25°C.
