【How to hand-wash silk at home】

① Use a neutral detergent only. (Avoid alkaline detergents—they break down protein, which can damage silk and wool.)
② Fill a basin with lukewarm water (below 40°C) and mix in the detergent.
③ Fold the garment gently and wash by pressing, not rubbing. Gently press and release underwater to create a water flow that lifts away dirt.
④ Rinse 2–3 times in clean water using the same pressing motion.
⑤ Wrap in a towel to remove excess water. Use the washing machine’s spin cycle for no more than 10 seconds with the item inside a laundry net. Do not wring by hand.
⑥ Lay flat on a towel or drying net in the shade. Avoid direct sunlight, as silk is sensitive to UV rays.
